QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus) is a sophisticated in vitro diagnostic tool specifically designed to identify Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the pathogen responsible for tuberculosis (TB). TB continues to be one of the most lethal infectious diseases globally, making early and precise diagnosis essential for effective management and prevention. Additionally, the QFT-Plus test is often used as a screening measure for school or work applications, helping ensure safety and health in these environments.

There is no fasting or any special preparation required.

A blood draw is conducted in our clinic and the sample will be sent to the laboratory.
