QuantiFERON TB Gold Plus

The QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus) test is an blood test used to detect the presence of Mycobacterium tuberculosis, the bacteria responsible for tuberculosis (TB).

Since TB continues to be a major global health issue, early detection is important for effective treatment and prevention. Unlike traditional skin tests, the QFT-Plus test offers a precise, laboratory-based method to identify TB infection.

This test is also often required for health screenings, including employment, school enrollment, and immigration examinations.
