A chest X-ray, also known as a chest radiograph, is a widely used diagnostic examination that produces images of the heart, lungs, blood vessels, and chest bones. It can detect conditions including heart failure, lung collapse, fluid accumulation in the lungs, pneumonia, and an enlarged heart.

This procedure is suitable for individuals experiencing symptoms or undergoing routine health screenings, such as the Permanent Resident Medical Check-Up or Long Term Visit Pass Medical Check-Up.

For more advanced imaging, we also offer computed tomography (CT) scans at our Orchard Clinic.

Chest X-ray requires minimal preparation. Simply ensure removal of all metal objects such as jewelry, eyeglasses, and body piercings.
